In SWAT's Fitness experience, the availability of fitness training programs for individuals living with disabilities is very limited. Why? SWAT believes there has been a disconnect between the fitness professionals who understand there needs of patience and care while providing exercise that are tailored to the wants and needs of individuals living with disabilities. We strive to access the individual wholly while collaborating with their team of clinical staff, medical team, and people of influence. We bridge the gap between the necessity of fitness and well-being for that specific individual we serve.
Developing a fitness/wellness program for individuals living with Disabilities is extremely important. There has been a challenge to maintain healthy lifestyles for the general population and we recognize that individuals living with disabilities may need added patience, care and attention to achieve the desire result. We strive to create a relationship and environment for individuals to thrive within their given abilities.
